"LeoParente" (shakedown)

Until further notice, if you care to hear and see what's on the motorsport mind of Leo Parente [me], you'll find it here on Kinja.
/DRIVE was a once-per-week scenario. I'll do my best to find the time and discipline to be more frequent than that over here.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! will still be active. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! will be a marketing tool for the KinJa stuff we post up. Instagram, Tumblr, Reddit, for now, are just too many buttons on the /SD steering wheel.
So...... Here we go. Hope you follow and remain fans.
To start, let's field some questions you may have. Lights out, Race on! I am ready.

Hey Leo, massive fan of your work. :) What do you say about Sebastian Vettel? Is he really that good, or is he behind guys like Alonso and Hamilton due to his car?

Right now, Lewis and Fernando are NOT on Seb's mind. He's stuggling with not catching Daniel! The 2014 car is different and Vettel has not come to terms with it.
Lewis has a better car, Alonso is a fighter. Seb is super tough, not just Newey's chaufeur.
But, I can't / won't rank them.

Welcome to Oppo! What do you think of the Williams team this year? Could we see a resurgence? Also, any idea why is Lotus struggling so much this season?

what's up LEO!!! This is Ulysses (dickcheese663) I've been wondering why Volvo pulled out of the Pirelli World Challenge. It seems to be that place to be. Also, any good news on the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup?

Hey Leo, thanks for joining us on a more frequent basis. I do wish the Drive team keep you on, though. Sure, powersliding and burnouts are fun, but honestly, they do get a bit same-y. I was honestly looking forward to Shakedown more than the rest.
I have a few questions for you, but need to do some additional research first. I've been researching racetrack design for a while now, hoping to work on a fictional one for my master's degree in architecture. I haven't seen you discuss tracks at great length on Shakedown, would you be willing to talk about them here or on the show if you get airtime again?
All the best.

Welcome Leo! There is no way for you to remember who I am, but I met you at this year's 24hrs of Daytona. Was always a fan of the show, looking forward to what you do here.

Seems odd that's it's Friday evening and no new Shakedown to watch, hope it's not going to replaced by say 'Bovingdon Does Skids and Giggles A Bit'. Have the powers that be indicated if you still have a part to play with Drive in the future.?

Hey Mr.Parente! I met you at VIR last year up at the Oak Tree corner with Travis and Matt there as well.
I've always been a fan of yours, and just recently I watched a /DRIVE video in which you discussed your career (motorsports marketing) a bit. I'd never thought about that specifically but it really got my interest as I've always loved motorsports and had an interest in marketing.
I'm currently in high school, and to graduate we have to complete a sort of career project, and so far I've been building up a motorsports photography portfolio, but we also need to complete a "mock interview." Would that be something I'd be able to discuss further with you in the near future? Would be very interesting to learn about the specifics of the career and see what sort of paths to take as far as schooling.
Thanks! Anthony
